Charles Edwin (baptized Feb 1677) was the youngest son of a Sir Humphry Edwin, Lord Mayor of London for the year 1697 to 1698, and his wife Elizabeth Sambrooke, daughter of Samuel Sambrooke, merchant of London. He married a rich daughter of Mr. Bradsahw of Haigh Hall, Wigan.
