Rupert Barber (1736 - 1772)

Barber was the son of a Dublin woollen-draper and the poetess Mary Barber, the friend and protégée of Swift. He studied enamelling in Bath. In 1743 he was working in Dublin where he was encouraged by Mrs. Delany.
